A Sports Montage

I attended the Princeton Club in Hong Kong's annual dinner at the Hong Kong Football Club on Friday evening.  It was nice to meet alums old and new, and the venue didn't hurt.  It is located on the northern end of the race track and has a nice view (through the floor to ceiling glass windows):

The lobby and interior are what you'd expect from an old school private club: dark wood, leather chairs, plants here and there.

On Saturday, Michael and I went exploring in Causeway Bay.  Our ultimate goal was to survey the driving range at the South China Athletic Association (SCAA), but along the way we were distracted by lots of open fields that we normally do not see in Hong Kong.

A soccer game and a rugby game going on at night side by side under the bright lights:

We eventually made our way to the driving range.  All of the SCAA was shabby and run down, old-school, decrepit and quiet.  I liked the twinkling lights of all the buildings in Midlevels shining down on the bi-level driving range.
There was a cool automatic ball dispenser - I'd not seen one of those before.
