Various Happenings in this Quickly Passing Month of April

Since we have been back, we have been doing lots of activities in Hong Kong, enjoying our beautiful home and the liveliness of everything as we shed social distancing, testing and masking.

Because Michael was super busy catching up on work after our trip, and we returned to Hong Kong in time for Easter Sunday, I braved going to the American Club with all the kids by myself for an Easter egg hunt and brunch.  Super fun and truly just such a relief and contrast to years past when getting out the door with 3 little ones was an astronomical feat, and certainly not possible with only one adult.
Kids enjoyed playing at home (they missed their cars and legos) and Lola got a haircut:
The weather has really been bad this whole month - unseasonably cold, drizzly, and kind of uninspired. But we lucked out on the one day we planned an outing to Stanley.
How lucky are we that we get to live in one of the most stunning and cosmopolitan cities in the world, but have a mere 20 minute drive to access this?? This city, man. It never ceases to amaze me.
We also were fortunate to enjoy a lovely afternoon playing at our neighbor's house and pool, and just hang out together.
They have a pet turtle that really likes lettuce...
We spent a day out at the GTA enjoying a barbeque party with friends.
As part of the swimming the kids got to try the sauna (but under close and careful supervision) - they loved it!
