I was a little bit torn because I hadn't planned many activities in Singapore itself, assuming we would just be too busy enjoying the resort.
I was right - the kids were so enthralled by the lush grounds, fresh grass, colorful flowers, abundant vegetable and herb garden, huge pool and water sprinklers, the designated pantry room on the family floor with accessories for the kids to choose, the special tent beds in our room, the kid friendly goodie bag and scavenger hunt, the Splash kid-designated adventure zone, and buds the indoor multi-level, multi-room playroom... we didn't have enough time!
We did make one trip out to the zoo, which was absolutely amazing, and deserves its own five star post. But for now, check out why we all fell hard for this resort.
Splash:
The gardens - I love seeing things grow! They had an astounding array of fruits and vegetables: calamansi, lemons, eggplant, long beans, mint, thyme, pepper, pumpkin, bitter melon, cucumber, okra, bananas, longan, aloe, and that's probably not even half of it.The rooms were great. We got two connecting rooms on the family floor, which comes with special access to a family pantry - with free washer dryers, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, microwave, bottle warmers and a whole lotta other stuff - baby potties, strollers, step stools, night lights, lullaby soothers, bath toys...here is a snapshot of the tent bed they set up. Lola loved sleeping in here each night!
Buds:
On the second day, after our trip to the zoo, we came back to the hotel and Lola meet her friend who had relocated from Hong Kong to Singapore. Her friend gifted her a huge, soft plush panda. We played at the pool and ran around the lawn before a fancy dinner at Origin Grill.
