Lola's First Haircut

One of the things I had intended to blog about in December before we left for the US was Lola getting her first haircut.  She got a little trim at a baby salon in Causeway Bay and was on impeccable behavior.  There was one other family in the salon who just kept admiring Lola with envy, because their little girl screamed bloody murder as soon as she saw the little salon jacket and had to be taken out of the shop to calm down.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but Lola was incredibly calm about the whole thing.  She sat on a purple pig, and she was engrossed watching a Peppa Pig video.

The salon stylist was very quick and quiet, trimming her fringe and getting her back to line up neatly.  Lola sat quietly and very still the entire time.  It was almost as if she knew that she had to stay put or end up with a crooked hairline!  I was amazed at how soon it was done.

They cut a little lock for us to keep.  Lola clearly really enjoyed her experience - look at that grin!
