Progress Report -- Teo and Al

Al and Teo recently got some thoughtful and warm reviews from their teacher Ms. Chen at Mulberry, showcasing their improvement and areas that require further improvement.  Overall her feedback was very positive.  The boys are smart, fast learners and adapt quickly to feedback.

I continue to be so impressed at the school, their facilities, their teachers' levels of experience and dedication, and their approach to education.  Schools that focus on early childhood education in Montessori or Emilio Reggio are not novel, but schools that do so in a fully 100% Mandarin environment are few and far between.

Al and Teo's Mandarin skills have improved markedly since mid August when they officially started school, which was admittedly my main intention for starting them at this school.  In addition to that, however, I have been so delighted at how much their life skills (learning to play with others, not to hit, to be patient) are also constantly being improved upon.

I love the pictures and weekly updates that I get from the school.  We are so lucky to have these kinds of educational options available to us here.

I would say the only significant drawback is the constant mask wearing.  Ugh.

Al is in the dinosaur mask,  Teo in the white mask:
