I read this quotation on Lola's school board and had myself a good chuckle. This is so representative of life with kids:

1. Have kids.
2. Make coffee.
3. Forget you made coffee.
4. Drink it cold.
Life is HAPPENING at a freaking crazy pace, ya'll. Al and Teo are two months and getting bigger and more sentient by the day. They went for their 2 month old checkup and vaccinations last week and they are measuring really well.
Al measured 5.045kg (11.12 pounds), 57.5cm (22.6 inches) and head circumference of 39.5cm (15.5 inches), which places him in the 25th percentile for weight and height and the 50th percentile for head circumference. Teo measured 4.87kg (10.73 pounds), 59.5cm (23.4 inches) and head circumference of 39cm (15.35 inches), which places him in the 25th percentile for weight, the 75th percentile for height and the 60th percentile for head circumference.
Here they are sleeping peacefully before being jabbed twice, poor babies! Teo cried like he had been shot, full of despair and betrayal, and Al, who went next, already started whimpering when he sat on my lap, as if he knew whatever was coming would be terrible.
Here they are chilling together, along with Lola's baby (at this point, why not throw another one into the mix)!
My parents are also here - they arrived last Friday, on the morning of the 28th, and have been so wonderful at coming over every day to hang out with Lola, Al and Teo. It was their first meeting of their grandsons and it was definitely love at first sight. They are also pretty enamored with Lola, but it's pretty hard not to be. We have a lot of help in Hong Kong but having my parents here make me realize acutely how nice it is to have family nearby. Facetime and skype is certainly preferable to nothing, but it's also not as nice as having in-person interaction. Here is Lola, wearing her qipao and rainboots - her own combination.
We all went to the American town club together for dinner on Saturday night.

My confinement nanny bid the twins farewell this week - we are very grateful to her for her help! She was crying as she bid us goodbye - I guess there is a lot of emotional attachment in this job. She helped us grow Al and Teo from little scrawny birdlike newborns to happy, plump, two month old babies.

I have 5 year old twins (and a singleton). Getting pictures where everyone is happy is tough! Pro tip- when you really want smiles, take individual pics and use a frame with two or three openings or create a collage! So
