A Successful Trip to Museum of Natural History

Michael landed in New York late last Saturday night and we kicked off our first day in the U.S. with the full family with an absolutely delightful and smashingly successful (it's all relative) trip to the city on Sunday.  On the 8:50am LIRR to Grand Central, we then explored the station, took the shuttle to Times Square and the subway to the Upper West Side.

Al was the hero of the day, noticing that we had not taken the right subway - we had gotten on the express 3 instead of the local 1!  He was so observant and it was because he pointed this out to us we jumped off on 72nd street to switch to the 1. Kudos to Al!

We went to the dinosaurs first, then to my favorite hall, the one of the huge blue whale and all the lifelike animal exhibits.  We saw a movie on scuba diving in Norway, then met up with my friend Namhee.  Namhee, Lola and I went to watch a show at Hayden Planetarium, which was super cool for being in a sphere, then we all went to lunch at a nice Mediterranean restaurant on the Upper West Side, before we headed home across the George Washington bridge in an Uber XL.
