Al and Teo Turn Three

The day after our return to Hong Kong, it was Al and Teo's third birthday.

We celebrated on the day with what is becoming our tradition, birthday balloons and festive decor on the dining table, with a few small presents, when the birthday kid(s) wake up.  Auntie Julie gave Al and Teo each a soft little plush toy, to clip onto their messenger bags, and Siti got them really great small jigsaw puzzles.
Later at night, they got to open the rest of their parents from the rest of the family members, including additional tonies for their tonie box, "Dragons Love Tacos," a surprisingly good velcro dartboard, and a huge T Rex that you can feed (and then take out the food from its stomach).  Lola got them a set of washable markers for drawing - she made sure to point out to me that they were washable, "in case the brothers draw on the wall or floor" (yes, there is precedent).
The boys aren't actually super into dinosaurs, but they like them plenty and it's easy to have a dinosaur theme.

We had the bigger birthday celebration for them on Saturday morning of New Year's Eve.
Preparing the cake and cupcakes beforehand.
We had face painting and a large bouncy castle.
The kids made (pretty delicious) mini pizzas.  We had a little outdoor section for the cake cutting
Happy birthday boys!
