Last Sunday was a pretty mediocre Sunday as far as these days go. Cold, wet, gray, and I hadn't felt so sick in a while. I had optimistically signed us up for a Discovery Center exploration at Pamela Peck on the South Side. The kids had a blast but about an hour in I felt SO cold - I could not get warm and I sneezed and dripped through a pack of tissues. My head was pounding and I finally called it and went home first. It's moments like these when I remind myself not to discount the value of around-the-clock-childcare and a personal driver!
