Back to regaling everyone with tales of our magical vacation. Not that we travel just to hop hotels, but this time, after only one night in Riad Carina, we were whisked off to Ksar Char Bergh, a most amazing villa / estate modeled after the Alhambra in Grenada, Spain, where my coworker's wedding was to take place.

It was a magical place. I hadn't seen so much greenery and grass in a long, long time. It felt like heaven! The villa was very grand but intimate, with only rooms for 13 guests. The other wedding guests stayed in the old city.
Our room was on the ground floor, with a private garden, tent and plunge pool.
