We had a really lovely afternoon at Taipei 101 on Chinese New Year's Eve. I was very excited when I saw the sun emerge. It had otherwise been a very cloudy, kind of overcast and uninspired day. But the afternoon turned amazing and we were blessed with a rare peek above the clouds on our trip. Our ticket bought us access to the 88 through 91st floors. It was surprisingly quiet and calm up there - not really windy for how high up we were!
My favorite part was the astonishingly fast elevator that brought us up from the 5th floor to the 88th floor in 38 seconds. Well, that and the amazing views. And the super cool mass damper that is available for public viewing. And the galaxy motion sensor floor. Lots of things I liked actually...
