The kids have been down with a cold this week, we went to the doctor on Thursday and the boys walked away not only laden with sprays and drops but also got hit with their flu shot and second hepatitis booster. Lola walked away with a diagnosis and some drops. To make up for it I let all of them have lollipops from the doctor. That was a treat!
Al and Teo tried a sports class on our street Friday afternoon but the verdict was that their regular minisport coach is better.
Yesterday I caught Teo and Al jumping on top of each other in what I could only interpret as loving playfighting and then, the next moment, Teo was turning Al's head this way and that (as pictured). It was peculiar and familiar and funny. Twins. What can I say.
It's been rainy here but the boys enjoyed a playdate at a nearly empty Maggie and Rose on a Friday morning (everyone else at school except their class), they have a week off starting randomly in a Friday. This is one of their best friends in the class and he is leaving for another school, I think the boys will miss him a lot!
This Saturday I took Lola to a special breakfast at bakehouse just the two of us before we went to try a soccer class at the race course. It was raining something fierce as we were on our way to the course and then in a great show of cooperation the sun came out.
I have been on a tear trying to get all of the clutter in our household organized (I am both shocked and appalled at how much shit we have and also how cluttered and disorganized it is) so between that and dealing with cranky sick (non-napping) kids that we are also simultaneously trying to potty train, there hasn't been time for more exciting stuff!
