Lola was so lucky to get to go to Disneyland with her friends yesterday, her first official day of fall break. It's amazing we live in a city that allows us to be door to door to Disney in just over an hour... on public transportation. We had never taken the train (always driven) but I gotta say, going via MTR and the Disneyland Resort Line holds a special place in my heart. I think it may in Lola's as well!
The girls all dressed up as Elsa (three Elsa's!) and saw princesses Snow White, Jasmine and Moana, hit up Dumbo, Cinderella's Carousel, and It's A Small World and watched the new show, "Let's Get Wicked" which was very good. Lola got to see her favorite villain, Maleficent.
This was all before lunch (fried chicken, fries, corn, juice) at Tomorrowland. Amazing!
They then went on to get ice cream (Lola made sure to tell me that hers was vanilla and strawberry) before heading on to Ant Man and the Wasp: Nanos Battle (a new one for Lola), Winnie the Pooh, and ending with watching Mickey's Philharmagic.
They were blessed with amazing weather - sunny, cool (for Hong Kong, or at least warm with a cooling breeze) but no rain, as the weather was on the cusp of turning due to a typhoon T3, but still not quite the wet, windy, rainy mess it is today.
