We met another couple for drinks at The Lawn at Upper House on Saturday night. The hotel is very modern and minimalist, a nicely balanced fusion of Western and Japanese touches. I had been there previously a couple of times for dinner, but at Cafe Grey and never in their more casual al fresco bar area.
My only gripe is that the lawn is not real grass. Disappointing, though I guess hardly surprising.
